Kendall Marie Trujillo, 29, moves easily between grit and grace, building a life that refuses to stay in one lane. A Santa Fe native and daughter of LaurieAnn Trujillo, she graduated in 2015 from Santa Fe High School and the Academy of Larragoite. She went on to Universal Technical Institute,
earning a degree in Automotive Science in 2018.
For six years, she worked as an automotive
technician, learning engines from the inside out, including time at Santa Fe Lexus and BMW of Santa Fe.
Today, she steps in front of the camera as a signed model. At the Cathedral Basilica, she remains grounded, steady, and present. Kendall is sponsored by Chuby’s Construction.

Angelique Martinez y Romero
Candidate No. 2
Angelique Martinez y Romero, 36, carries her story with quiet strength, rooted in Northern New Mexico and shaped by family. Born and raised in Chimayó and now living in Santa Fe County, she is the daughter of Donna Martinez y Romero and the proud mother of her son, David.
She graduated from Pojoaque Valley High School in 2008 and earned an Associate of Arts in Criminal Justice and was employed with the Santa Fe Police Department.
Today, she teaches at Bilingual Montessori School in Los Alamos, guiding young minds in language and identity. Sponsored by
Caballeros de Vargas, she holds close, her faith, her culture, and the responsibility of example.
