Eloisa Gonzales joined the Santa Fe Fiesta Council in 2009 and has been a dedicated leader and volunteer for more than a decade. She has served on several key committees, including Warehouse, Float and Refurbishing, and Plaza Decorating, helping preserve and present Fiesta traditions year after year.

Ms. Gonzales previously served as Vice President in 2018 and as a member of the Board of Directors. She most recently held the role of Vice President during the 2024 and 2025 Fiesta cycles. She now proudly serves as President of the Santa Fe Fiesta Council.

Lisa Medina-Lujan

Lisa Medina-Lujan has been a member of the Santa Fe Fiesta Council since 2014 and has been an active contributor to both leadership and tradition. She has served on several committees, including Queen and Court, and has chaired Fundraising as well as Ticket and Door.

Fiesta runs deep in her family. Her daughters served as Spanish Princesas during the 2023 and 2024 Fiesta cycles, and her daughter Kaitlyn Rose Medina y Lujan was honored as La Reina de La Fiesta de Santa Fe in 2025.

Ms. Medina-Lujan is currently serving her second year as a member of the Board of Directors and now proudly serves as Vice President.

Ms. Lucero has been a member of the Santa Fe Fiesta Council since 2009 and has contributed to Fiesta in both ceremonial and leadership roles. She served as a Spanish Princesa during the 300th Fiesta de Santa Fe in 2012, marking an early connection to the traditions she continues to uphold.

She has served as Public Relations Chair for more than 11 years, overseeing communications and outreach during a period of significant growth and visibility for Fiesta. Her leadership roles have included Board Member, Vice President, and President.

Ms. Lucero served as President during the 2024 and 2025 Fiesta cycles and now proudly serves as Immediate Past President, continuing to support the Council and its mission through experience, mentorship, and institutional knowledge.

Theresa has been a member of the Santa Fe Fiesta Council since 1999 and currently serves as Executive Secretary. Raised in Santa Fe, Fiesta traditions have always been a central part of her family life, from attending Mass and Fiesta events with her parents to raising her sons to take part in those same cherished traditions.

Ms. Anaya Burney has served on numerous committees throughout her tenure, with many years dedicated to the Parades Committee. Her service is rooted in a deep commitment to bringing the community together and ensuring Fiesta traditions are preserved and passed on with care and continuity.

Gail Delgado

Gail Delgado

Parliamentarian

Mrs. Delgado joined the Santa Fe Fiesta Council in 2009 and has served the Council in several key leadership roles. She has chaired both the Queen and Court and Religious committees, helping guide important ceremonial and organizational efforts.

Mrs. Delgado has served as a Board Member for the past four years and now holds the role of Parliamentarian, continuing her commitment to strong governance and tradition within the Council.

Thomas Baca

Thomas Baca has been a member of the Santa Fe Fiesta Council since 2014 and has served in several meaningful leadership and ceremonial roles. In 2014, he portrayed General y Gobernador Don Diego de Vargas, honoring one of Fiesta’s most significant historical figures.

Mr. Baca served as President of the Caballeros de Vargas in 2018 and has been a member of the Fiesta Council Board of Directors for the past three years. He has also served on the De Vargas and Staff committees.

He serves on the Fiesta Council to continue the Promise of Don Diego de Vargas, honoring the responsibility carried by his ancestors and passing those traditions on to the youth so they may be preserved for generations to come.

Mike Cintas has been a member of the Santa Fe Fiesta Council since 2016 and currently serves as a Board Member. He has been instrumental in supporting key operational and creative efforts, including Float and Refurbishing, Warehouse, and Plaza Decorating, among many other areas.

Mr. Cintas has also served on a Cuadrilla and as a committee member for both the De Vargas and Staff committees, contributing to the execution and continuity of Fiesta traditions through hands on service and leadership.

Mr. Holmes joined the Santa Fe Fiesta Council in 2009 and has served in both ceremonial and leadership roles. During the 300th Fiesta de Santa Fe in 2012, he portrayed Capitán Primero, Capitán Rafael Telles Jirón, contributing to the preservation of Fiesta’s historic traditions.

Mr. Holmes is also a member of the Caballeros de Vargas. He is currently serving his second year as a re elected member of the Board of Directors, continuing his commitment to leadership, tradition, and service within the Fiesta Council.

Doug Nava joined the Santa Fe Fiesta Council in 2024 and has already played a significant role in Fiesta leadership and tradition. He portrayed Don Diego de Vargas during the 2022 and 2023 Fiesta cycles, honoring one of the most central historical figures of Fiesta de Santa Fe.

In 2025, Mr. Nava served as Chair of the De Vargas and Staff Committee, helping guide both ceremonial and operational elements of Fiesta. He is also a local Santero and actively participates in Spanish Art Markets each year, continuing Santa Fe’s rich tradition of devotional and cultural art.

Marty Burney has been an official member of the Santa Fe Fiesta Council since 2016 and currently serves as Sergeant at Arms. His involvement with Fiesta began much earlier in 1998 when his wife joined the Council, and he has been a dedicated volunteer ever since.

Over the years, Marty has supported many Fiesta events, but those closest to his heart are the Desfile de la Gente, also known as the Historical Hysterical Parade, and the Desfile de los Niños, the Children’s Pet Parade. These events reflect his long standing commitment to community, tradition, and family centered celebration.
